Core Program Types & Locations

All programs live in the Programs tab within the Diamond Dynasty main menu. Here’s what you’ll find:

1. World Baseball Classic (WBC) Programs

Structure: Divided into Pools A, B, C, and D.

Rewards: Completing each pool grants 40 initial WBC player cards. These cards are essential for unlocking high-tier collections like Fernando Tatis Jr.

Best For: Quick access to diamond-tier players early in your collection.

2. Team Affinity (TA)

Structure: Separate programs for each MLB team.

Rewards: Team-specific diamonds like Joe Mauer and other elite players.

Best For: Long-term squad depth and building a strong “No Money Spent” team.

Note: Team Affinity is grind-heavy. Plan your lineup to maximize mission progress.

3. Themed & Limited-Time Programs

Examples: New Threads (featuring Peter Alonso) or seasonal events like the Egg Hunt.

Rewards: Mystery missions, packs, XP, and sometimes legend players.

Duration: These programs are temporary, so check frequently for new events.

4. Starter Program

Purpose: A beginner-friendly program that teaches core gameplay mechanics.

Rewards: Your first gold or diamond-tier players, setting the foundation for your squad.

Efficiency Tips & Tricks

1. Moment-First Strategy

Complete all program Moments before diving into missions. Access them from the Moments menu rather than the Diamond Dynasty menu to avoid unnecessary home-screen resets.

2. Stacking Missions

Fill your lineup with players relevant to a specific program.

Example: Using all WBC players in a game can progress Parallel XP (PXP) or stat-based missions at the same time.

Avoid “random” lineups—they slow down progress.

3. Use Custom Stadiums

For missions involving Total Bases or Home Runs, play offline in high-elevation custom stadiums with shorter fences.

This makes hitting goals faster without depending on multiplayer.

4. Parallel Mods

Once you reach PXP tiers, apply Parallel Mods to boost specific player stats.

This helps lower-rated cards stay competitive and complete missions more efficiently.

5. Combine Program & Conquest Grinding

Maps like Egg Hunt or Cityscape Conquest contain hidden rewards, such as Ballin’ is a Habit packs.

Play these while completing program missions for maximum efficiency.
